With the re-release of Strange Journey on 3DS, comes an extremely slick Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey Limited Edition – but at this point it’s Japan limited.
Releasing in English regions as Strange Journey Redux, the SMT Deep Strange Journey Limited Edition is titled “Shin Megami Tensei 25th Anniversary Commemorating Special Box” in Japan.
Included in this Limited Edition comes:
- 3DS Shin Megami Tensei DEEP STRANGE JOURNEY [Special Box Edition Bonus]
- 6 Disc rare soundtrack & memorial arrange tracks
- Series 25th anniversary commemorative Kyouten Megaten Maniacs Artbook
- Gold-foil hot-stamp processed gorgeous special box
Judging from the above, Atlus are going all out with this release – a 6 disc soundtrack means fans are in for a treat.
Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey launches in October 2017 for Japan, and is currently penned for a 2018 release in English regions (US and EU).
There’s no word yet on an English region Limited Edition – fans of this niche genre don’t get so lucky outside of Japan. However, with the release of Persona 5 and it’s fantastic Take Your Heart Edition, there may be hope just yet.
