The SplatoonJP Twitter introduces Bisk, the Shella Fresh Shoe Store owner. Plus details on the Tentatek Splattershot Sub and Special Weapon abilities.
With less than a week to go until Splatoon 2 launches, we’ve been introduced to Bisk, the owner of Shella Fresh. There’s also a recap of details for the Tentatek Splattershot Sub and Special Weapon ability changes, which have flipped since what we’re used to in the original Splatoon.
Bisk (Shigani) – Duraku (Shella Fresh)
Bisk is the store owner of Shella Fresh, the Splatoon 2 Shoe Store. His Japanese name 「シガニー」 Shigani, is a pun on the name for Japanese spider crabs 「タカアシガニ」. He’ll be the dude you head to for fresh Squid Kid shoes in Splatoon 2.
He’s the Spider Crab, Shigani (Bisk).
He’s the store owner of the Shoe Store, Duraku (Shella Fresh).
Those long legs – as if they’re closely embracing you, demonstrate his tolerance; his demeanor is calm and relaxed, like a dolphin of the deep sea – and his words, they shoot out one after the other to everybody, like bubbles that calmly squeeze you.
He gives off a cool, adult-like vibe.
彼はタカアシガニの「シガニー」。
クツ屋の「ドゥーラック」の店主をしている。
その長い手足ですべてを抱きしめるような包容力と、深海にいるかのようなゆったりした物腰、そして発する言葉の一つ一つが泡のように人々を優しく包み込む。

That is hella-fresh and hella-deep. Bisk seems like…a really deep dude.
Tentatek Splattershot
Returning from the original Splatoon, the Tentatek Splattershot has a new design, as well as a new Special Weapon attribute – the Inkjet. Also replaced is the Sub Weapon, switching from Suction Bomb to Splat Bomb in Splatoon 2.
This is the Tentatek Splattershot.
This is a gear update to the Splattershot, which came to fruition from a Tentatek collaborated design.
The main ability of this Weapon is unchanged but, the Sub and Special combination of Splat Bomb and Inkjet has changed – allowing you to deal with various situations as they arise.
これは「スプラシューターコラボ」。
「スプラシューター」がギアブランドのアロメとのコラボデザインになったブキだ。
