The age of AI dominance is fast approaching, and things just got a little scarier. Toad is handing out Splatoon 2 weapon tips through Nintendo’s official LINE account. All you have to do is add him (using this official QR code), and name a weapon. However, you’ll have to do it in Japanese – try searching the Splatoon Wiki for Japanese weapon names.
You can chat about with Toad about anything really – it’s a fun spot to brush up on your quirky Japanese skills. See what you come up with and post the screenshots to the Twitter page!

There’s also a free wallpaper of a pink Squid staring down a Green squid. Which you also have to ask politely for – just copy and paste キノピオくん壁紙ちょーだい (Toad – please give me the wallpaper!). You’ve got to work for it when it comes to Nintendo.
The mushroom shaped fellow at the Official Nintendo LINE account has had their brain enter Splatoon 2 mode.
If you ask the name of a Splatoon 2 weapon, he’ll reply with a picture of it.
For people that missed out on the limited and already transmitted wallpaper – it might be good idea to ask nicely for it!
