Splatoon 2 updates just won’t stop coming as the newest Main Weapon – Dualie Squelchers – launches tomorrow morning. Rejoice, Squid Kids!
If you were worried about the Splatoon 2 update frequency – don’t. Just yesterday, the first Patch Ver 1.1.2 released. Last Sunday, the Inkbrush was introduced. Now, the new Main Weapon Dualie Squelchers launches – a new Dualies type, mixing Jet Dualies with the original Jet Squelcher. The Japanese name for Dualie Squelchers is Dual Sweeper 「デュアルスイーパー」。
The Dualie Squelchers were originally a Shooter type in the original Splatoon. The addition of another Dualies type is great – and this one looks to pack a punch from afar.
Dualie Squelchers should launch 13 hours from the time of posting – check your local times for details!
Dualie Squelchers
From 11am tomorrow (7/29), the new weapon Dualie Squelchers (JPN: Dual Sweeper) will be added.
This weapon was a Shooter type weapon in the original Splatoon, but has now been reborn as a Dualies type (JPN: Maneuver).
It’s long range and rapid fire strength remains as is, while gaining the ability to Slide.
The Sub Weapon is 「Point Sensor」 and the Special Weapon is 「Tenta Missile」。

In Japan, Dualies type weapons are named Maneuver 「マニューバー」 – because they’re Maneuverable. The More You Know.
You’ll be able to combine both guns to create a long-rate form, similar to the original Jet Squelcher.
When using the Dualir Squelchers, for a period, your post-slide stance while shooting will combine both guns –
becoming similar to the original Jet Squelcher weapon form.
Slide, quickly adjust your distance – then take out your opponent from long range with quick, rapid fire!
