Splatoon 2 Kirin and 7-11 Promotions Start, Can Badges and Kirin Bottles

The Splatoon 2 Kirin promotion has kicked off with the release of these Japan exclusive Grapefruit drinks – plus, 7-11 are offering 6 collectible Splatoon 2 Can Badges with Gear.

With the release of Splatoon 2 approaching quickly, Nintendo have taken to marketing aggressively – through both digital and physical avenues. These Japan only items will leave English Squid Kids green with envy.

Kirin are offering 5 collectible Splatoon 2 Kirin Grapefruit bottles, which depict a Turf War in motion. As usual, these are only up for purchase in Japan.

7-11 will be offering fans a Can Badge with purchase of select gum. Yes, that’s right. These Can Badges are quite popular in Japan so it’s not a surprise Splatoon 2 are trying to ride the hype. You can also redeem a free piece of Gear with this gum, which you can use in the Retail release of Splatoon 2. There are 6 total badges to collect – more details, and the eligible gum brands can be found here.
