Squid Ring 2 App Detailed, Splatoon 2 Net Social Platform

Nintendo’s assault on the smart-phone market continues with Ika Ring 2 (Squid Ring 2) – the Splatoon 2 Net Social Media Platform App.Details are still scarce, but it’s understood this service will be called Splatoon 2 Net in English speaking countries. For now, here’s the Japanese scoop – Multiplayer Stats, Networking and even Gear Purchasing (not using real money).

This is Ika Ring 2 (Squid Ring 2).
Your Rank and Skill Level, recent Battle Results, upcoming Stages news – all types of Splatoon 2 News can be browsed in one convenient service.
Downloading the Nintendo Switch Online App will prove to be very convenient!

Built into Ika Ring 2 is Geso Town (Light Town).
At High City, smart shopkeepers are running the independent use Net Store “Animo”.
Here you can purchase Gear from Spiky using a cash-on delivery transfer service.
Don’t worry – real money isn’t used for this. The in-game Splatoon 2 currency is used to purchase goods.

If you’re worried Gear from Geso Town will be restricted to the Splatoon 2 Net App – don’t fret. Looks like you’ll be able to purchase it in-game too.

Gear obtained from Geso Town may have a Common appearance and seem the same, however, this Gear differs, carrying base changes called Gear Power.
As time passes, so too does the product line-up – so Squid Kids obsessed with Fashion and Gear Power should check frequently.
Gear from Geso Town is not restricted for sale – when Squid Kids in the Plaza are wearing it, it should be available for ordering.
